Pierce goes to the beach

Last week we packed up and headed to the beach for our first family vacation. This time we had just one rule: NO therapy allowed. Just a week of relaxing and enjoying our little family.

First dip in the sand. I didn't know it at the time, but he was devising a plan to ingest as much of this "yummy goodness" (gross!) as possible.

Finally got him to sit unassisted in the sand and this is the look I get. Caption: "These suckers will try all day to get me to do a trick."Or maybe he just had some residual sand stuck in there?

Ah the beach.... bliss!

We feel so blessed and fortunate to have our precious boy with us. To be able to show him the ocean. Put his feet in the sand. Hear him laugh and see him smile. To see him accomplishing goals (did you see how well P is sitting?!) that we were told he'd never reach.  

God is good. He has been so good to us.
