update

I'm not sure what happened to our blog today, but for some reason the last few entries have been deleted and we've been unable to access the blog until now.

Update: our little guy is doing well. He is hanging tough and is still on very minimal ventilator settings. Feedings have resumed and of course, we will all be keeping a very close eye on his bowels. In addition, the staff is going to be drawing off more fluid by using his temporary shunt. This is very routine and will likely be done once every day (or every other day) for quite a while. Please pray that no complications arise and that Pierce can be extabated soon.

We were able to celebrate Pierce's one month birthday last night and will post pics later today.
