Golf Tournament

As I mentioned before, some dear friends at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church have graciously chosen us to be the recipients of the 6th annual Friends of Timothy Golf Tournament. We are really excited about this and want to make it a celebration of Pierce's miraculous life. The golf tournament is in 4-person Captain's Choice format. The tournament is set for 24 teams but can be pushed to 28 if necessary. We last heard that twelve teams have already said they want in. So, if you are in the area or want to travel to Charlotte and be a part of the tournament, please see the info below.

But even if you're not a golfer, there are activities for you! There is going to be a BBQ lunch catered by Smokey J's BBQ and a silent auction. Again, we want this to be a celebration Pierce's life. We would love to see all our friends, family and have the opportunity to meet all of our supporters.

How you can get involved:
1. Register for and attend the BBQ lunch. (The event will be catered by Smokey J's BBQ of Mooresville.)
2. Donate to the silent auction.
3. Attend and buy something at the silent auction.
4. Sponsor, or ask your local businesses to sponsor teams/holes.
5. Register yourself or a team (4 people) to play in the golf tournament.

Ok, so you're not convinced you want to come yet? Well consider this: while we can't make any promises, there's a good chance that bubble boy, I mean Pierce, may make a brief appearance to thank everyone. Of course we will have to get creative since lil' man cannot be around large crowds due to his nonexistent immune system. BUT, nonetheless, we will try to figure out something.

More than raising money, we really want this event to be fun for everyone as we celebrate what God has done in Pierce's life. Will you please consider joining in?
