We're headed to the beach

Psalm 108 "For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies."

We are happy to report that today our Lord answered our prayers for a good scan and the results looked improved from last Thursday's scan. The shunt appears to be working well.

This means no surgery!

Our neurosurgeon showed up in recovery with a big smile on her face and said "Have fun at the beach!" I can't even begin to describe the sense of relief we felt!

Her hunch is that Pierce's shunt somehow managed to get turned to the wrong setting (maybe an ipad or the microwave?). Either way, the plan to readjust the shunt worked.
