We snapped this picture of little man this morning. Last night he was weighing in at a whopping 1 lb. 5 oz. Although he shrunk a little, which is normal for all babies, he is looking better. His skin is developing more and more everyday. Today they actually took down the UV light that they use to treat his jaundice with. It will probably need to be put back up, but for now he is good. We can't wait to be able to hold him. Hopefully, that will be sometime in the next week or two. We already love him so much.
Right now I have to take his mom to the doctor's office. We will be back with another update later this evening. Before we go, we wanted to thank our family at Advent Church where we are members. We have missed them so much during this time. Pastor Ken Cross and his wife Lynn have been with us in this ordeal since the very beginning and we thank them for that. We owe all the members a big thanks. Some of the guys (Ben and John) even came and changed out our washer/dryer (a big blessing because our other one was barely functional)! If anyone is looking for a church in the Steele Creek area, you should definitely check out Advent (www.adventchurch.net).
I'm sure there will be many more "thank you's" along the way... so many of you have helped us. We truly are overwhelmed by all of the love and support. We ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers.
Christ is all,
