a little diddy to brighten your Monday afternoon

So while we've been chugging along (more like plateauing with a very, very slight incline) in the gross motor department, Pierce has taken off and soared in the feeding department. We're so proud of him and aren't taking anything for granted. Yesterday, he and I were sitting on the couch just hangin'. I was enjoying my yummy carrot cake cupcake from Cupcrazed and I looked over and noticed P was smacking his lips and pretending to chew the cake. So, I got brave (every time that he's tried textured foods has ended in him gagging and puking everywhere) and gave him a bite. And wouldn't you know, he managed to eat that bite! He went on to successfully eat another bite of cake. And another... and another. And... well, you get the picture. Before long half my cupcake was gone. Fortunately my laptop was close by so I was able to snap a short video. Check out his improving skills on the sippy cup as well!

  5. GO PIERCE GO!!! This is excellent! I think Pierce needs to teach Samuel some cake-appreciation skills. :) He is super cute and your voice is cute too (is that weird to say??? You have such a good mommy voice!)
